Somerville Songwriter Sessions at the Armory Cafe

The concert will feature a solo set by each artist, followed by a round robin song swap, with lots of sharing - Terry and Janet have written a number of songs together, Mara sings harmony on Terry's new album Next Time We Meet, and Mara sings a song of Terry's on her latest album Facets of Folk. Troubadour Concert Series [formerly the Minstrel Coffeehouse]

Terry & Mara will be opening for their friends Gathering Time in this historic folk concert series. Gathering Time are featured on Mara's new CD Facets of Folk, accompanying her on the #1 folk single  "By My Silence." They have also joined Terry and Mara onstage at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival and other concerts (and are pretty fabulous in their own right). Tremedal Coffeehouse, Watertown, Mass.

Terry and Mara will be opening for legendary folksinger Rod MacDonald at the Tremedal Coffeehouse, held at the First Parish of Watertown, 35 Church St., Watertown. They'll be doing songs from both Terry's new CD Rubies in the Dust and Mara's new CD Facets of Folk (which includes her beautiful version of Terry's song 'A Perfect Rose'). Rod is a veteran of the Greenwich Village folk scene who goes back to the days and tradition of Phil Ochs, and who is still writing great songs, so it should be a great evening. The concert begins at 8 pm, and tix are $15 in advance, $20 at the door.
